Day 01 Arrival Amritsar International Airport

Arrive Amritsar international airport, transfer to hotel. Check in to hotel. After relax day at sightseeing.

Amritsar: The city of Amritsar is a glittering showcase of compound traditions and secular culture. A thriving city with important devout centres and historical sites Amritsar exhibits a glorious past, magnificent present and a hopeful future. Evening visit to Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening ”Beating the Retreat” ceremony. Later evening back to hotel and free
for leisure, overnight stay at hotel at Amritsar.
Day 02 Amaritsar - Dalhousie (200 kms/6hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel the Visit to the city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple-the most important Sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs.
Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians.
Afternoon drive to Dalhousie: It is a beautiful, quiet and peaceful small town of North India, famous among the honeymooners. Away from the maddening crowds of plains, Dalhousie is surrounded with attractive cottages, villas, sky touching deodar and pine trees and evergreen ornamental shrubs that makes it one of the most preferred tourist’s destinations in Himachal Pradesh. On arrival Dalhousie check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. You can enjoy a walk along the mall road, later back to hotel, day free for leisure, overnight stay at hotel at Dalhousie.
Day 03 Dalhousie - Khajjiar- Chamba – Dalhousie (Day excursion)

After breakfast visit to Khajjiar Sanctuary – Gandhi Chowk – Khajinag Temple – Khajjiar, known as one of the most charming spots in the Himalayas,then visit to Chamba is also the most charming spots in the Himalayas, later back to hotel. Day free for leisure, overnight stay at Dalhousie hotel.

About Khajjiar:23 kms from Dalhousie by road and 13 kms from Kalatop is the mini Switzerland of India i.e. Khajjiar, at a height of 6400 ft. Hutchison writes, ”Khajjiar is a forest glade of great beauty, 6400 feet above sea level”.
Day 04 Dalhousie to Dharamshala (130 Kms/ 4 Hrs)

Proceed to Dharamshala. On arrival in Dharamshala visit Bhagsunag Temple and Dalai Lama Monastery. Enjoy shopping at Macleodganj Bazaar. Overnight at Dhramshala Hotel.
Day 05 Dharamshala – Amritsar (250 Kms 06 Hrs)

Morning after breakfast day at leisure and optional visit to Jwalaji Temple at Jwalamukhi Later visit Aghanjar Mahadev Temple and Tapovan. Afternoon drive to Amritsar and Drop at Amritsar International Airport.
