  3. 01:00 PM Cultural Minglings at Red Fort

    Afternoon around 1:00 Pm after visiting two megnificient monuments (Taj Mahal and Red Fort) we will leave for a lunch to enjoy the taste of mughal delicacies in a local restaurant.

  4. 4:00 PM Discover Etmad-ud-daula

  • Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal is the most visited building in India and is often regarded as one of the world’s seven wonders. The Taj Mahal was a labour of love for Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and his queen Mumtaz. Agra’s historical monuments draw the most visitors to India every year.

  • The Fort of Agra

The Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as Lal Qila, Fort Rouge, and the Red Fort of Agra. The Taj Mahal is around 2.5 kilometres to the northwest. Emperor Akbar built Agra’s massive historical site out of red sandstone on the banks of the Yamuna.

  • Fatehpur Sikri

Mughal Emperor Akbar’s former capital, Fatehpur Sikri, is almost entirely red sandstone. It has recently been named a popular tourist destination and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is a beautiful illustration of Akbar’s skill as an architect.

So, if you are on day trip only then it is advisable that skip the Fatehpur Sikri. Or else if you can extend the tour proogram for one day more than complete sightseeing can be done easily and comfortably.

Short and purposeful trip, may be next time plan with 3-4 days, we all enjoyed the Taj, and lunch was delicious. Tour Guide had depth knowledge about places. Without tour guide couldn't manage.

Private car, driver and guide was absolutely great. I unfortunately lost the name of our driver but he was very nice and kind. Took us to breakfast before the long 3.5 hours to Agra. Once in Agra we picked up our guide Rajan who was fantastic. Showed us all around the Taj, baby Taj and the Agra Fort. Lunch was at a great restaurant. Overall a great value for the $ and we tipped well! Definitely worth a day trip so I recommend making the time!

You have to be crazy about adventure tours to build a theme that displays the tours so elegantly that a person browsing the tours on site literally falls in love with place even before booking the tour.
